Convenience & ready-meals

Fast component changes, short cycle times, strict allergen separation.

Convenience lines combine many components into a finished product: rice, vegetables, sauce, meat, side — often 10 to 20 ingredients assembled in minutes. Each ingredient arrives on the line in its own container. Our pallet boxes and hygiene pallets are engineered to change fast, be identified unambiguously and cleaned without detours.

The starting point

Fast component changes, short cycle times, strict allergen separation.

The bottleneck in convenience production is rarely portioning — it is the component changeover. Wrong ingredient, wrong container, unclear labelling: all that costs cycle time and opens allergen risks. With colour-coded Rotogal boxes, combinable with RFID inlays and UV direct print, the ingredient is always unambiguously identified — even after hundreds of wash cycles.

Your benefit

  • Colour-coded purity

Each allergen block has its own colour — unmistakable even in the daily rush.

  • Labellable & RFID-ready

Direct print, in-mould labelling and optional RFID inlay for fully automated track-and-trace.

  • Fast changeovers

No decanting, no pouring across — box out, box in.

  • HACCP-documentable

Seamless material conformity, traceable per batch.

Common pitfalls & fixes

Common pitfalls & fixes

  • One colour for everything

Build a colour scheme along HACCP allergens — at least 5 colours for 14 allergens.

  • Paper labels

Switch to UV direct print or in-mould labelling — wipe-proof, wash-proof, always legible.

  • Mixed wash pools

Allergen-separated wash tunnels or at least sequence (allergen-free first).

Frequently asked questions

How do you reliably identify allergen pools?

Colour plus in-mould label plus optional RFID. Three redundancy layers — identification stays unambiguous even with a dirty label.

How quickly can we get custom colours?

The standard colour palette is immediately available. Custom colours (RAL) typically in 6–10 weeks from initial order.
